Hey guys, I found out this morning that my computer isn't working correctly anymore. I believe something's wrong with the battery, so I won't be on as much as I used to be.
This isn't really an absence post, more like a "I'm not going to be on as much because now I have to use the family computer where I have my brother, sister, her husband, nephew, and niece all get on as much as I do."
Yeah, so it was working fine last night. Then I turned it off and went to bed. I tried getting on this morning after I got out of the shower to check up on the site. I pressed the power button and all that happened was a "Beep beep beep... beep beep beep... beep beep beep" so I turned it off and waited a few minutes. Then tried to turn it back on. NOTHING happened. Wouldn't even light up. So I brought it to my dad, who's had this happen with his work computer before. He said it was the battery that was messed up. Well, I keep it plugged in continuously, even when I go to bed, it's plugged into the charger. Maybe I fried my battery by doing that?
So on my way to Pulock's how this morning, my mom called and said it was still under the 90 day warranty, and we're going to send it in to be checked and looked at.
So, I won't be on as much as I used to, or as late -- to all of my friends I talk to late at night.

Hey that's totally fine Moon,
My laptop did that to me too and it was a total arse to sort out. I wanna really try and keep the forum as active as possible but obviously I'm not going to ride your arse about your laptop breaking lol.
Yes, leaving your laptop plugged in all the time will shot your battery to pieces. That's why I fully expect mine to die at some point as I do the same thing lol.
Just keep us updated when you get your lappy-toppy back and we'll celebrate the activity ^_^.

okay, so update:
Monday or Tuesday, my mom called the tech support and they made her do all these kinds of tests to figure out what's wrong with it. Everything they told her to do didn't do anything to the computer. She had to run the tests twice. Still nothing, so today, they've sent a guy to come to our house and take a look at it. I just hope they don't look at my online history because my ex-boyfriend watches some "ugly shows" on my comp and I never clean it out >.< crap. And someone on my forum suggested to just take the battery out and and plug the charger in to see if that would work. I told my dad this and he told me he had already tried it and nothing worked. So I'm still stuck with the family computer. Blah And I come home and the guy has worked on my laptop so now I have it - but my dad told me this morning that I'm not allowed on the comp >.< so I'll be on till he gets home tonight lol.
